5 Things We’re Looking Forward to at AWS re:Inforce 2024

AWS re:Inforce 2024 is just under a week away, from June 10-12, 2024, at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia, PA. As a cloud security startup operating on AWS, it should come as no surprise that we’re looking forward to this flagship AWS security conference.

This year’s iteration of AWS re:Inforce has a fascinating spread of talks, roundtables, and announcements as part of the event. Here are the five big facets of AWS re:Inforce 2024 that we believe hold the most promise in helping enhance our capabilities and expand our horizons on cloud security innovations and AI-driven solutions.

1. Interfacing with Customers

One of the most valuable aspects of AWS re:Inforce 2024 for HTCD is the opportunity to engage in focused meetings with our customers. These interactions are crucial for us to gain a deeper understanding of their evolving needs and challenges. By listening closely and collaborating directly, we aim to tailor our AI-driven security solutions to help them achieve their goals more effectively.

2. AWS Builders Connect

This is an opportunity for some one-on-one face time with an AWS Solutions Architect or AWS Executive Leader to talk all things AWS. We’re looking forward to discussing what we like about the AWS platform, what could be improved, and where we could do more to make the most out of new AWS security features.

3. AWS for Software Companies: CxO Security Leaders Dinner

A chance to connect with fellow innovators and receive insights on growth and development on the platform straight from the AWS leadership? Yes, please! Our Founder & CEO, Shaan Mulchandani, will certainly be attending the CxO Security Leaders Dinner.

4. AWS Healthcare & Life Sciences Security Round Table

Data privacy and security are a major concern in the healthcare and life sciences industries. With regulatory compliance an important (not to mention unique) facet of this space, discussing this, and security in healthcare as a whole, with the likes of Paul Vixie, Deputy CISO, AWS, and peers from the security industry, should prove fascinating.

5. Observing Emerging Trends

AWS re:Inforce has always been a melting pot for cloud security, ever since the event’s first iteration in 2019. Cloud security trends change rapidly, and the premier AWS security conference is the perfect place to observe the evolution of these trends. We're particularly interested in how vendors are distributing their focus across critical areas like Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), Data Security Posture Management (DSPM), Cloud Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP), identity, and compliance.

AWS re:Inforce 2024 is set to be a remarkable event, and HTCD is thrilled to be a part of it. We can’t wait to bring back new knowledge and ideas to continue pushing the boundaries of what's possible in cloud security. Want to meet our Founder & CEO, Shaan Mulchandani, at the event?
